I want to express how upset and disappointed I was with my move on 3/27/2017 1. They were over 2 hours late because they locked their keys in the truck. 2. They forgot their tool box and had to leave in the middle of my move to retrieve it, causing additional delays 3. They had no tape and I ended up giving them 2 rolls of packing tape. 4. One of their dollies did not have a furniture pad on it and as a result, I have scratches on several pieces of furniture. 5. They were completely disorganized, dazed and confused all day. It took one mover 10 minutes to wrap a flat screen TV. 6. They scratched up my walls in the new house getting a couch upstairs. It was a difficult task, but they are supposed to be professionals. If not for my daughter helping them, it would have been worse. They had no clue how to accomplish the task. 7. They cursed several times in our presences. And yes, so did I, but I am the customer. 8. They had no desire to place my furniture in the house as i wanted it, they just wanted to be done and so did I. 9. They broke the support on my desk, it is now very wobbly and I cannot use the desk 10. They left my ice maker line leaking at the old house, WHICH CAUSED DRYWALL DAMAGE. i was able to easily turn it off, they had told me it was difficult. 11. They were unable to turn off the valves to my washer, AND THEY FLOODED MY LAUNDRY ROOM. My maintenance man came out this morning and easily turned them off. Now I have to pay someone else to move my washer. 12. Overall they were highly disorganized, very unprofessional, and completely clueless as if they were doing this for the first time. 13. I called TIM and he was completely rude and could care less about my complaints. He told me he would meet me the next day to move my washing machine for me. He stood me up, would not answer his phone or text or email. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. THESE MOVERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL! DO NOT USE THEM!
I have not personally used this company but did witness some very unprofessional employees that were driving the truck. For about 10 minutes the truck driver had an entrance of a gas station blocked off and angrily gestured and cursed at cars who were lining up behind him thinking he was just waiting to pull out into traffic. Finally when he was pulling the truck out onto the highway he threw a very large amount of litter right out the window. Disgusting, I guess the 10 steps to the trashcan at the gas station was too much for him. From what I observed I would be completely uncomfortable with that individual entering my home and handling my possessions. Will be sure to never use this company. In response to the owner trying to dispute the validity of my post. I have no reason to take the time to falsify this post. It is quite possible that they did not fuel the truck there as it was a Rudys BBQ/ Gas Station. They could have stopped for lunch and did not get any fuel. What I saw was CLEARLY behavior from your employees as the name of your company is on the truck. I actually called the office to report what I saw but my call went unanswered. Your lack of concern for employee behavior and defensive response is a great example of why customers should take their business elsewhere.
I have used Heart of Texas Movers several time in the past. I had a situation where I moved from my home and had them store my furniture for several months. Once I was finally situated in my new place I had all my furniture delivered and several pieces were damage, some pieces were missing, and some pieces did not belong to me at all. I was also charged $200 for them to bring back my items from their storage, which I understand, but they really dropped the ball. Multiple months passed and I was in constant contact with the owner. He would never answer my calls he would only respond with text messages. He told me he had the missing pieces and would deliver them but every appointment he would make with me would be cancelled at the last minute. I heard every excuse int he book. Needless to say, I still have not received my missing pieces and I still have some items that do not even belong to me. He stopped answering texts altogether. I have basically accepted the fact I will never get these items back but I just want to let everyone know to stay clear of this company. I am sure I could pursue them to get this straightened out but I have had enough headache with this all.
Be forewarned, DO NOT USE these folks! Horrible service, horrible communications, and they have lost part of our furniture from my brothers estate. They shut down their offices and moved our possessions into a container, and never let us know. It was not until we tried to see what was left in storage, we were not allowed to see our items in storage. After weeks we have received a partial delivery of our possessions, but we are missing cushions to a couch, legs to a table and other items. Tim will not respond to emails or texts for days if at all. Then he never keeps his appointments. They were referred to us by an apartment management company who had used him for years, but everyone is now experiencing HORRIBLE customer service. DO NOT USE Heart of Texas Moving! I am going to try to attach photos of how our items were thrown into the container, and they provided us these pictures! Look at their reviews on Yelp, BBB, Facebook and Google. Good businesses work hard to keep good reviews. Unfortunately, Heart of Texas has been doing a poor job for some time after looking at their reviews.
Never ever consider moving with these guys. I do not usually write a review, but I feel a strong desire to leave one up here. They simply never pick up the phone and make up funny excuses to delay the time. Imagine guys showing up at 7pm when the move originally planned at 9 in the morning. Text only communication is a bonus. You will learn the patience if you get to have a business with them. Avoid!!
I contacted with them 3 years ago for piano moving they were LATE like 3 hours i was waiting someone else’s house for 3 hours when I finally canceled he got upset !!! this year I found them on Groupon and since i was moving the whole house i give him a try! They were 4 hours late again since it was my house I waited but my brothers didn’t! They moved everything no problem there
The most unprofessional scam of a business. Never showed up, although owner said guys were running an hour late. Yet here we are at 10 AM and he is not returning any of our texts or calls. He should learn how to run a company. Do not waste your time here. Thankful that a different moving company saved the day.
Hey tim and his crew couldnt have been better it rained the day of my move but that didnt bother them they wrapped it all in plastic and moved it in the pouring rain they.... i had cheaper bids but went with heart of texas because of its sterling reputation..... ill always use them..... thanks alc2
